Changing my life
Oh boy, life has changed a lot. I haven't wrote in a while, but i'm hoping to catch up and talk a little on life.
These last few months have definitely been different towards what i'm used to. All my life I have told myself to take chances, because thats where I will be able to grow, but its always difficult to get out of your comfort zone. I've taken time for myself to figure life out, and will always be on that journey, But lets start chatting on the changes that have happened.
Throughout the pandemic, I have been able to notice that I truly don't want to be stuck in my life, and to take actions that will give me pure happiness. This new path of mine has allowed me to try to focus on the good and not the what ifs. I took the chance to finally apply for a new job, and got it. I became a camp counselor over the summer and now an after school counselor.. This has allowed me to fulfill my role to work with amazing children and not only have an impact on their lives but having one on mine as well.
Another moment that I have noticed through these times is that I want to take every opportunity I have as a growing point. I was given an opportunity over the summer to start an internship once school starts up.. At that time, I decided that I was going to take a chance on that opportunity because it is a place that I want to improve in and learn on. It has been a rollercoaster of a ride since then, but a great one and I have gotten to learn so much on implementing plans, projects and more of a career that I hope to look further into.
Although through these times, I have been able to look more into what I would like to pursue in the future. Knowing that I have a passion with working with children, the business world, writing, and mostly getting the possibility to have a positive impact on lives. I have been able to test the waters in fields that I am interested in and will keep doing so. The changes that I have been making in my life are allowing me to see a little into the future on what I truly think I would enjoy being. These opportunities have allowed me to grow into the person that my younger self had always imagined. Now it's time to take the chances that I want, to improve myself and become the best me I can be.
Something that I have continuously been saying to myself is:
"Life is all about figuring it out"
